The Attack stat shows the current weapon stat, and the Defense stat shows the current defensive item stat. It would be good to make that clearer, and also to have the appropriate stat for each item displayed in shops.

What was the ancient land called, before being named atulos?

The ancient land was called Arkaria, named after Arkahron himself, the ancestor of Atulos.

What sort of year are we on in game? eg 1000AA (After Atulos).

The year, or number of years is unknown, other than it has been many generations since Atulos ruled.

That said with the time since atulos's reign do the eras have any relevance to the time line at all?

After Atulos was originally killed, there was a period of initial peace that eventually gave way to war between the guilds as they tried to claim their share of a land with no ruler. An era is a non-specific but significant period of time that is defined by the war heroes that dominated each era. Some are recorded and known, and others are forgotten.

Are we going to see these mountain rebels or have they been disbanded since the downfall of atulos?

The mountain area was originally created as a direct reference to the mountain rebels, although the rebels have long since disbanded the mountain still remains.

And finally is there any back story to atulos that hasn't been made available yet just sitting around?

Thanks Naveed, it would be great to have you back in the community again! Steve would have had a character in the game back in 2008, so you probably do remember him, but he has been involved in development since the beginning and eventually took the project over 3 years ago. I returned to the development team to contribute to releasing the game on Steam and now I am continuing my involvement as a moderator in the community. Steve is continuing to develop the game with some exciting plans for the future.

I just had a look at the source and it turns out that is actually the problem, there are a few special characters that are not allowed in passwords too.

Hi HowardUK. Everything looks right from the screenshot.

Once you get the 2nd Amulet you will be able to enter the Forest and at the back of the Forest is the Palace of Kings. It requires 6 Amulets and the Premier version to enter the Palace of Kings, and this is where your Premier journey will start.

The first area in the Palace of Kings is called the Mercenary Command, where you will be sent on quests that open up the game to new areas and new equipment.

It is available as DLC from the Atulos Online store page. It's a one-time purchase for lifetime access and for the next week it is discounted by 10%.

Good idea, I have implemented it already, so that public level up messages only occur once every 10 levels, the rest of the time the level up message can only be seen by the player. Of course this is only the case if someone is using the current version. Anyone that hasn't updated yet will still be sending regular level up messages.

The Premier version will be officially released on Monday. Once Premier comes online any existing Premier members who don't already have Premier on Steam can request a Premier Key, for activating Premier on Steam. Premier users who have been testing the Beta version of Premier on Steam, do not need to request a new key.
